Boom
By Mark Haddon
Boom is a book about two boys that are best friends (Jimbo and Charlie) who are just ordinary cheeky boys. But when they find out from spying that two of their teachers (Mrs Pierce their history teacher and Mr Kidd their art teacher) have a secret language between them, their world becomes chaotic. What is that language? Why are they speaking it? What does it mean? Jimbo and Charlie set out to answer these questions in this original and imaginative book. I really liked because I have never read anything like it. My favourite character was Charlie because he takes great risks and is pretty funny.

Art Refletions
Art
This term for Art we had to look at some Robert Delaunay artworks and the make our own by steaing ideas from him to I really enjoyed doing it because I love painting and I think Robert Delaunays art is really cool.
we all did different techniques to design our Art I chose arows, shapes and lines.
The colours that we used were Red, Yellow, Blue, orange, light blue and light orange.
Cross country persausive writing
Cross country
This week we had the cross country I came 1st and Addison came second. We had to write about it. So I chose to do a persuasive writing to persuade people to lik the cross country.
Cross country is a good opportunity for the people who like Running to stand out and be competitive. It is a real challenge for people and it keeps you wanting to be fit. I think that we should have cross country so we can also do well and go to competitions elsewhere like west coast and canterbury ext. So why don’t people like cross country?? Is it because you get puffed but everybody gets puffed. Great Runners need to take a challenge and set it as a goal. They need to have perseverance and stamina like Usain Bolt.
