My Myth- The Green Flash.

This week we had to create our own myth. I chose to create on around the green flash. Her is my work.

Ra and the Green Flash.

Once there was a beautiful young woman who lived on the wild West Coast of the South Island.. Her name was Ra Tuhiwai. She was the daughter of Tane Tuhiwai and the lover of Hare Tohoro who was a young warrior. They had a beautiful baby boy called Marama. But soon a tragic thing happened, Hare went to war with the neighbouring tribe and did not return. In her grief Ra rose up and became the sun. But she had left her only child, Marama. Marama was all alone. He had to look after himself. But seeing as he was only 3 he rose up and became the light (Marama). To this day they both remain in the sky. They meet on clear nights and their bond creates a green glow or a flash.


That is the story of the green flash.

This week for literacy we have rad a book about Harakeke (Flax), Then we had to create a google drawing showing the main parts of the story. Here is my work.

This week for literacy we have done a diamante on ANZAC here is my one.

A diamante poem uses interesting nouns, adjectives and verbs to describe the topic.

We also did a book advertisment for a book that we have read so that we can try convince people to read it.

Reflections week 3 term 4

We were set a task of making little garden tips to make them grow here are a few of our tips. I leant how to plant that rype of vegetables.

This was my ferns follow up we had to do doubling and halving it was quite a difficult activity I enjoyed it any way it was a good way of practicing times tables.  

This was my google slide I really enjoyed doing it because we got to do lots of new different things.  I had record facts and opinions.
