Workbook Probability

Workbook: This week for numeracy, my group had to complete the workbook. I completed it I thought it was quite easy, and I liked doing it. 

Numeracy reflections week 7 term 1

This week for numeracy we have been doing maths buddy set tasks. these are the task some of them I completed and some of them I haven't completed yet.

We also did long multiplication problems we had to solve them. Here are mine. My next step learning would be to work out 3 diget x 2 diget. 

Literacy, Numeracy term1 week 2

This week me and my buddy Arli have been working on a tally of Mamaku's favourite sports. After we had finished we did a graph on how many people voted on which sport. We found out that Rugby had the most tally marks. We also wrote some lists about different stuff. I wrote mine on things I would like to do do before I die.

Numeracy reflections week 6 term 4

For numeracy one of our tasks was to create 3D shapes here are a few of my shapes. I learnt how to make 

3D hexagon.

For CC we had to create Rashid for our class story we also had to make a trophy. I used google drawings for this activity. I reallly enjoyed this activity because we got to create our own trophy and character. 

For numeracy we have been working on testlilation here is an activity bassed on tesilation.

We have also been working on rotation here is an activity for rotation. We had to chose a shape and rotate it 90 degrees and then 180 and then 360 and then back to 00 degrees. 

Numeracy reflections week 4 term 4

For maths this week we have been focasing on 2D and 3D shapes. You will see in my screen castify that I have grouped the shape into 2D and 3D. I learnt how to group 2d and 3D shapes.

For maths this week we have been working on co-ordanites This is my page in the slide This activity is called Compass points I really enjoyed this activity because I got to stand up and do the activity. 

Reflections week 1 Term 4

For one of our literacy rotations this week we had to create a mythical and describe what the parts were for I really enjoyed this activity because we got to make a a nonexisiting animal I did this activity on a google drawing I thougt it was pretty easy.

This term our teacher joined us up to Chapter Chat 5. Chapter Chat is a thing where lot's of classes get together on a Friday and answer questions this is called tweeting. We are reading a book called Person Controller I am really enjoying this book. One of the activities was to draw fred and ellie playing video games here is mine.

For maths this week we have been working on position and orientation I really enjoyed this activity but maybe next time I could try to give a bit more information on how I did it.

Numeracy reflections week 7 term 3

This week we have been focusing on the area and the perimiter.  This activity was on a google slide this was my slide I was really proud of how quickly I got this activity done, but maybe next time I could work on making the writing more clear.

This is my numeracy for this week I created a screen castify of the google slide I made this slide with my friend Will.   The purpose of this activity was to recognize fractions and turn them into decimals I am really proud of this slide and how we got it done next time I think I could work on making the slide more factual

This is a screen castify of a maths game The purpose of this activity was to screen castify a game on the Mamaku site around Geometry. I enjoyed this activity but next time I think I could make it a bit longer.

week 2 term 3 reflections

This week we have been creating a DLO on our maths this was my DLO i really enjoyed it.

This is one of the Olympic activities we had to choose an activity to complete I chose this one because I thought it would be cool to find out a bit more about the Olympics.



This is my speech I did it this week for my home work I thought it was fun to speak in front of the class and to make a speech with visuals.

Reflections Week 8 Term 2

This is my writing for this week this was task 1 the other part was writing a story from story starter.  The purpose of this activity was to use punctuation in the correct places.

This is my maths for this week it was very easy . Everyone in the class did this activity after this activity Aimee and I made a poster on money on banqer this is our poster.

This is my reading for this week I really enjoyed it because I got to try something different for a change and I got to do something off the Chromebook.

Reflections week 6 term 2

Maths for this week. We had 9 tasks, this is task 7 task  7 we had to write the answers of these questions.When it gets to task 9 it gets harder.

Writing for this week the simile monster, on every slide it contains a simile with description.

Task 1 for reading this week, we had to do causes and effect's, we read a book about storms, and then we had to write some causes and effects with the backbone of lightning. Next time maybe I could  could try put a bit more description into the causes. 

Reflections Week 5 Term 2

 
This is my writing for this week .I learnt how to describe how she would feel at the start, middle and the end. We  had to work around this picture. I thought it was fun.

This my maths for this week it was not my favorite but it really pushed me because I am not the best at maths.

This is my reading for this week our book was grandparents day .We had to write the problem ,solution,title and the Author,main characters, supporting characters and the setting.   

Reflections Week 4 Term 2

This is my Mr stink follow up . We had to do a different and similarities I liked doing it because I could com pear the movie to the book and I thought that the book was better because i could picture the character in my head with out watching the movie.

This is the  maths follow up for this week we had to do doubling and halving it was to test times tables strategies I thought it was alright but it was not my favorite. 

This is the writing activity for this week we had to write descriptive peace of writing for this  object and then we had to do a drawing of the live animal that the skuleten belongs too.

Reflections Wk 3 T2

This was my ferns follow up we had to do doubling and halving it was quite a difficult activity I enjoyed it any way it was a good way of practicing times tables.  

This was my google slide I really enjoyed doing it because we got to do lots of new different things.  I had record facts and opinions.

This is my telling time activity it includes 12 hour time and 24 hour time.  I learnt how to convert between 24 and 12 hour times.  It was a bit tricky at first.


 
For literacy we did  ANZAC activities. This activity is called the first day at Gallipoli.  we made a slide about
 it.  I learnt how to present my learning in a Google Slide.

This is one of my ANZAC activities we had to find the meanings of the words .  I learnt lots of new words that I can add in to my writing.
