This week for Whanau time we talked self respect and what it looks like, we were then told to make a presentation on it to show our knowledge.

The next five weeks we are doing our novel study on the boy in the striped pyjamas. We are learing what it was like for the Jewish and actually how unfair it was, we have set up an activity involving Jewish and German. We picked a tag out of a hat with our eyes closed and on that tag we either got a Jewish star or the German flag, the people with who got the Jewish star have to...

• sit on the floor.
• pack up the class while the German children get free time.
• Be wet day monitors.
• No music.
• No free time.
• No treats 
• Get badly treated by ALL Teachers. 

This Activity will teach us how unfair it was.
