Seeing as it's the first week out of lockdown we are doing something a little different. Mrs P set up an activity for us. First we had to make some puzzles to form 3 pictures. We then had to solve some word scrambles and a word search. Once we were done that we had to solve a series of maths questions to reveal some letters. Once we had got all the letter we unscrambled it again to form the words Ancient Egypt. Finally we labled some places in Egypt and comfermed the flag. Finally we had found what our topic is for the week: ANCIENT EGYPT.

Writing
This week we had to describe an object without using it's name. Here is mine, can you guess what it is?
The neck's sleek wood finish is as smooth as a freshly polished stone.
The silvery strings vibrate on a perfect octave.
The head's complex design glimmers in the morning sunlight, causing a faint apricot glow.
The enpin sighs as it strains to hold up it’s heavy burden, although it’s too proud to make a fuss.

Autmn Writing
This week for writing we had to write a small paragraph or a poem aroud Autumn without using the word Autmn.
The delicate branches of the kowhai tree, get bullied by the rain.
A fat kereru lands on the tree pecking at the flowers, harvesting
For the oncoming winter.
Ivy bursts into flames causing it to stick out like a sore thumb.
Dry leaves crunch under foot and clog up the gutters like a cork in
A champagne bottle.
The rose buds curl into their hard coats, shy of the weather.
The season is coming to a close as the winter draws nearer.

Maths House Plan
This week we had to create a house plan on jam board. I use the grid paper for the background so I knew how many squares on each room. I enjoyed this task and I would like to do it again.
