40 BC week 9 term 1

                 Tom Sawyer

                                  by Mark Twain

Tom swyer is a book about two naghty and misheivious boys there names are Tom and Huckleberry Finn (Huck).  this book was written in 1876. It was set in a little town alongside the mississippi river in Americia. At the time where there was still slavery and children still got hit with the cane at school. People were very supersticious and very afraid of curses and ghosts. Also native americians were called injuns and treated badly. It was a good book even know it was written in exactly pronouced words like (I'll learn ya and I recon so and I'll lick ya) it was a bit hard to understand. I recommend this book to 10-14 year olds.

Book review 2017 term1 week 8

DIARY OF A WIMPY KID DOUBLE DOWN
Diary of a wimpy kid is a funny novel written by Jeff Kinney.
The main character, Greg and his best friend Rowley are on a mission to become popular, but they struggle to succeed.  There are many unfortunate examples of their failures which are very amusing, even though sometimes I felt sorry for them. There are many different books in the series.
