Book review

Charlie and the Chocolate Factory

By Roald Dahl

This book is about a poor boy (Charlie Bucket) who lives in a tiny cottage near a gigantic Chocolate Factory.  He lives with his four grandparents and his mother and father.

His favourite thing in the world is chocolate and it taunts him when he sees other children munching on delicious, creamy, chocolate because he only gets one bar of chocolate every birthday. Charlie dreams of going inside the gigantic chocolate factory and little does he know, with just a littLe bit of luck Charlie could end up going inside.
The great owner (Mr Wonka) sends out five golden tickets. It's all over the news and on TV and in the newspaper, so Charlie has so many ways of finding out who has got the golden tickets.
One day he was walking down the road when he spots something in the snow.  Could this lead him to get what he wishes for most of all? Maybe he could be lucky.

This is one of my favourite Rohald Dahl books, first equal with Matilda (another Roald Dahl book).  I like because the characters are all very interesting and I
like how Willy Wonka behaves.  It has very exciting descriptions.  If you haven't read it already, you definitely should!
